The last October 4th our Sales Area Manager, Cristina Schiess, participated in a conference about sustainable packaging trends to show the best of Hamer Packaging Technology on diversification and innovation in the ecological packaging..
The event was organized by ACCIÓ and the Federació Empresarial del Gran Penedès in Santa Margarida i els Monjos, and was welcomed by the mayoress of the municipality Imma Ferret.
From Hamer Packaging Technology we take advantage of our participation to explain the new strategies of our company, in which we have bet on 3 points that have been the key of our company: ENGINEERING, DIVERSIFICATION and SUSTAINABILITY.
As for the engineering , we conclude that our product range, blister machines and thermoforming machines are part of a mature market and in such a global and changing world, looking at our competitors we decided to direct our efforts to offer solutions tailored to value our technological know-how, enhancing our resources, ultimately showing us as an engineering that provides customized packaging solutions.
By offering customized solutions with the aim of diversify, we opened a new division for the medical sector. We created the line of specific machinery for the medical sector (white rooms) and a new division where we offer blistering services in a white room for smaller companies that do not need the investment in a machine.
In Hamer Packaging Technology we bet on innovation projects using our R & D & I capability that allows us to provide new sustainable solutions in the world of packaging with the use of new materials such as cellulose pulp to create new machinery for the development of ecological packaging. In this line we are developing three projects of ecological packaging: a pulping machine for high productions, the production of gastronorm trays for the food sector and the project Cofipulp.
During this event could attend companies related to the packaging process and interested in the functioning of the ecosystems of the clusters. This conference was the first to be held in our territory to promote the advantages that clusters present to the company and we could provide our vision as a successful company within the sector of ecological packaging and innovation .
